This fault occurs when the controller out-of-band management IP address cannot be assigned as it is in use (local or remote).

Recommended Action:
If you see this fault, take the following actions:


  1. Identify the interface that is using this IP.
    For example:
    You can use linux utility 'arping' to locate the MAC address of interface using the IP address.
    arping -I oobmgmt -c 1
  2. If above action did not resolve the issue, create a tech-support file and contact Cisco TAC.
