This fault occurs when some interfaces are in local scope but they are receiving MST (802.1s) BPDUs. It could lead to inconsistant endpoint states in the fabric.

Recommended Action:
To recover from this fault, try the following actions

  1. Configure global scope on the interface
  2. If the above actions did not resolve the issue, generate the show tech-support file and contact Cisco TAC.
