This fault occurs when the source Endpoint IP address that the traceroute policy is configured to run with is not found in the fabric.

Recommended Action:
If you see this fault, take the following actions:

1. Verify that the configured source Endpoint IP address in the Traceroute Policy exists in the fabric and is correct
2. Review the fault message and add missing or remove invalid configuration
3. If the above action did not resolve the issue, create a tech-support file and contact Cisco TAC.
