Fault fltMaintUpgStatusSchedulerPausedOnMemberUpgradeFailure

Rule ID:1432

Explanation:
This fault occurs when upgrade is paused on a group due to one or more members of the group failing to be upgraded and the maintenance policy specifies that it should pause when there is a failure (pauseOnFailure) or the user manually pauses the scheduler

Recommended Action:
If you see this fault, take the following actions:

  1. If the scheduler was manually paused, unpause the scheduler
  2. Look for individual node faults indicating why the upgrade failed. Try to understand why the upgrade failed. Once you have identified and corrected the reason for the upgrade failure, then unpause the scheduler on this maintenance group.
  3. If upgrading in GIR mode and there is no upgrade failure, check if all the spines in a POD are upgrading together. Make sure atleast one spine in a POD is active during upgrade and unpause the scheduler on this maintenance group.
  4. If the above action did not resolve the issue, create a tech-support file and contact Cisco TAC.
