Explanation:
This fault occurs when a software upgrade fails on a controller

Recommended Action:
If you see this fault, take the following actions:


  1. If upgrade is done via API, check if the image version entered is correct.
  2. Delete the image from repo, delete and repost the firmware policy.
  3. Free-up stale/old images, delete and repost the firmware policy.
  4. Reboot the controller and retry the software installation using a policy based upgrade.
  5. Reboot the controller and retry the software installation using the command line interface.
  6. If above actions did not resolve the issue, create a tech-support file and contact Cisco TAC.
