CAXL Presence & QuickContact Example

An example demostrating Presence and Quick Contacts.

This example automatically performs a number of actions in the page onReady event.

Creating a jabberwerx.Client.
Creating a jabberwerx.cisco.QuickContactController to manage Quick Contact sessions.
Registering for jabberwerx.Entity and jabberwerx.EntitySet Events to monitor presence changes.

The example also demonstrates (based on user actions like button clicks) additional Quick Contact functionality available within CAXL:

Connecting as a given username with a given password.
NOTE: the connectexample example is the best source for connection information.
Subscribing to a list of contacts.
Unsubscribing from a list of contacts.

Instructions for using this example:

Click the "Connect" button to connect the client to the server.
Subscribe to a preset number of contacts by clicking the 'Subscribe' button.
Login to several contacts with usernames jwtest1 to jwtest10 using the Connect Example in seperate tabs or windows.
Observe presence changes as additional users are connected and disconnected..
Unsubscribe to previously subscribed contacts by clicking the 'Unsubscribe' button.
