This fault occurs when the operational state of the dhcp client interface changes to failed state

Recommended Action:
To recover from this fault, try the following actions


  1. Check the network connectivity between APIC controller and the node
  2. Try rebooting the switch using CLI or GUI.
  3. If the above actions did not resolve the issue, generate the show tech-support file and contact Cisco TAC.
