Edit Contact Person

Overview

This section contains the required and optional elements to edit an existing contact person. One contact person can contain multiple Contact Points.

Elements required in request body

salutation	Must be one of 'Mr.', 'Mrs.', 'Ms.', or 'Miss'.
middleName	Must not exceed 124 characters.

loginId	Must not exceed 255 characters.
gender.value	Must be 'male' or 'female'.
identification.type	Must be one of the values configured in application.
identification.value	Must not exceed 255 characters.
suffix.value	Must be one of jr., sr., i, ii, and iii.
initials	Must not exceed 16 characters.
secretQuestion	Must not exceed 255 characters.
secretAnswer	Must not exceed 255 characters.
hasDirectMailingConsent	Must be true or false.
hasDirectCallingConsent	Must be true or false.
hasHoldingDataConsent	Must be true or false.
jobTitle	Must not exceed 255 characters.
employmentStatus.value	Must be one of part-time, full-time, temporary, contract,intern, or unemployed.
priority	Must not exceed 255 characters.
dateOfBirth	Must be a past date. Refer supported date format here.
maritalStatus.value	Must be one of married, single, separated, divorced, and widowed.
type.value	Must be one of the values configured in application.
firstNameFurigana	Must not exceed 124 characters.
middleNameFurigana	Must not exceed 124 characters.

startGreeting	Must not exceed 255 characters.

educationLevel.value	Must be one of high school, graduate, post graduate, or doctorate.
race	Must not exceed 255 characters.
dependents	Must not exceed 255 characters.
isSmoker	Must be true or false.
hobbies	Must not exceed 255 characters.
interests	Must not exceed 255 characters.
contactOrder	Numeric value less than 32768.
contactPoints.contactPoint	Can have multiple contact points. For required and optional elements to create a new contact point, refer Create Contact Point. For required and optional elements to edit an existing contact point, refer Edit Contact Point.
customAttributes	Name must match one of the custom attributes configured in application. If the custom attribute is configured as an enumeration, the value must be one of the predefined values. For string type of custom attribute that is not configured as an enumeration, refer list of Allowed Characters For Custom Attributes.
